It's definitely the dog days of summer. I'm having a tough time finding biting fish right now. Most found are deep, over 18'. I think they would bite minnows a bit better but I don't want them that bad.
They are still there. Finding them on vertical structure. Trees or poles, both metal and wood.
I fished in my boat house last week one day and caught 13 in 2 hours, had 6 over 12". All came on metal poles. Water is 14' deep.
