I would like to know how to increase the size of the numbers on the screen, such things as way points, water temp. I have tried my best to find out how it's done but no luck, Thanks Daniel

#1 press power ,then Edit Overlay,Change, Then make the change on the menu size on the right hand side of screen. Touch what ever size you already have selected and the size choice option will open up. If you want to add or configure there will be an option on the previous menu .Hope this helps

Not sure about gen 2 but on my gen 3 like fishbonz said, press power, press edit overlay, touch on whatever it is you want to increase i.e. time, temp, etc then press the +(zoom in) button and it should increase the size, repeat for each display you want to increase then hit save (save changes?)

I guess the 2 generations are not alike. Mine has no touch function other than buttons. Thanks Daniel

I have a HDS 7 Gen 2 Touch unit myself but unlike the Gen 3 instead of zooming in to increase size it give you a small ,medium or large option when you want to change sizes. That`s what makes this so puzzling to me!

I guess the 2 generations are not alike. Mine has no touch function other than buttons. Thanks Daniel Maybe you have the no touch Gen 2. You still should be able to change your overlay data. Try looking for Overlay Data in your Pages menu. If you R still having trouble go to Youtube and put in "Lowrance Lesson HDS Data Overlay"
