I don't remember if it was Bass Talk Live or Ike Live, but Velvick sorta went into detail about why he left the Elites saying it wasn't his back/neck but that he basically drove home to be with his daughter.
She's probably pretty high on the crazy/hotness scale. i can say for sure on one particular day that this was true. ran into him and his daughter on Fork earlier this year. he was chunking one of those giant swim baits about 500 yards on every cast.

Was that a real question or sarcasm? How does a guy who has been a member since 2011 and a regular in our Bass Fishing section not know who Kelly Jordan is?

I don't know which girl is which but he was married to a cheer leader, is that right? If so, were any of you at her birthday party at Lorina's Cantina down on Amistad about ten years ago? That was a night to remember!!! That was a night I will never forget.

Mary wasn't that bad at catching Bass either. She once caught a 5 pound plus Largemouth off a private dock at Clear Lake while Byron was in his boat fishing a B.A.S.S. Tournament right in front of her.
