According to multiple sources, the Sportsman is 21 pounds lighter.
Reading the specs, the only differences I see are the seat, tracks, and the Sportsman has a stern tank well.

Is the hull a different thickness? Is it the tank well that shaves the weight?

Are they phasing out the Predator line?

I see that the pedal console weighs 21lbs.
Are they just calculating the weights differently? (Including the console weight with the Predator, but leaving it off with the Sportsman?)

What do you mean by tankwell? They look similar in the stern to me.

Both boats seem redundant, so maybe they are getting rid of the predator line. The PDL drive is heavy as hell, and it would be nice if they could shave some weight off it and keep its functionality/durability. I have a topwater 12 PDL and itโ€™s heavy. Would be great if they could keep the stability, durability, weight capacity, etc with these but make them much lighter and easier to handle.

Looking at the Old Town website today vs just last week, looks like they are officially starting to discontinue the Predator pdl line up.

With more research, all they did was change the seat and some of the tracks and rename/rebrand.
The difference in the weights was that some sources published the predator weight with the drive and while publishing the Sportsman weight without the drive.

The Old Town website does include an assembled weight for the Sportsman 132 pdl at 122lbs.

Initially, I thought a possible discrepancy in the weights was maybe due to a larger stern tank well shaving off some weight, but they are identical.
