SST Carbon Grip Rods! Next Generation of Salmon, Steelhead & Trout Rods!

In 2022 the new "A" series of Carbon Grip Rods was introduced by Okuma. This new generation looks & feels great! Of the current 22 models ranging from 7ft-10ft in Spinning & casting i'm using the 2pc 10ft/6in Spinning Rod in Medium. I'm also using a SST Carbon Travel Spin model in the exact 10'6" measurements but in 4pc in a travel tube.

The 2pc i'm using has carbon grips whereas the 4pc travel spin is in 4pc. Both feel the same and has caught many species up to 8lb jigging off the shorelines. Both rods are rated 3/8-3/4oz lure weight so i'm using 15g & 20g Jigs by Mustad. Rods are 11guides + 1tip , 8-17lb line weight & Medium in taper. The 2pc carbon grip weighs 7oz and the 4pc cork handle weighs 7.4oz.
