Good grief enough already

Question for the OP, did you have to adjust the payouts for the tourney they cashed in? I ask because I know of a BASS Elite that fished an event he knew he shouldn't have entered under the rules and won $10K, when it was exposed by a team that finished in the money it opened a pandora's box and the circuit took a hit in reputation & participation.
What about their sponsors if they had any?

I somewhat disagree -- there will be people that " win on this " . I 100% guarantee that there are other teen age boys saying to themselves right now -- " Man , I would never do that , not worth it " . There will also be discussions between some parents and some teen age boys along those same lines and the consequences of this event will also influence those discussions and those lives ---- that's how having to pay for your mistakes with consequences works . The more severe the consequences , the more in depth those thoughts and discussions are --- just look at this thread .
Hopefully these two boys will learn from this and move forward . I also hope their parents/grandparents will learn from this and not make any excuses for their behavior .

the bashing the kids is uncalled for, emphasis should be on why no charges were pursued when a complaint had been filed.

ample evidence to convict, confessed, caught in the act by witnesses.

I keep hoping a warden will chime in and maybe offer insight as to why, they did this premeditated, entered an adult event with intent to defraud and steal so they

are under adult rules.

as for the bashing them, if they are minors I for sure would not be posting any pictures or making comments about them being harmed. bad juju

Not a lib here but I am not sure I would have had the stomach for watching a public hanging back in the day...I believe in owning mistakes, in paying for them whatever the cost, and then being forgiven for them because I believe in Him...That is not liberalism, that is faith!
