Looking for a 40+ year old experienced fisherman from the S Ft. Worth area, that is financially stable with little to no life drama. Looking for that unicorn partner that understands the situation, but still enjoys the event regardless of outcome; only to look forward to the next event. I'd prefer to fish alone, rather than deal with a bunch of BS.

I'm 50+ that's been around the block a time or two, and has no interest in drama or arguments on or off the water. I have a 2018 Basscat that has all the toys, but still prefer simple fishing; finesse fishing is not my favorite, but can do it when needed. I'm financially stable, but no where close to being loaded, and have a great supportive wife that understands.

Would be nice to find someone that has equivalent equipment, but not a necessity. IMO, a successful team is very much like having a committed relationship, it takes time to gel and works best when both strive for success, but can handle the bad times just as well. No freeloaders need apply, only someone that can share the weight of it all. Communication, planning, and preparation is very important to me.

If there's such a unicorn out there, send me a PM to discuss. Planning to use this fall for the courtship..lol

I'm not sure if I'm a unicorn, but definitely drama free. When I retired over 5 years ago, I started fishing more and have spent more time and money on fishing stuff than I will admit (especially to my wife).
I am not a pro angler and have never been in a fishing tournament. I'm also 50 +, and stay active with fishing and other activities. My interest would be to just learn more technics to catch fish and enjoy the sport. If you are a real competitive and serious fisherman, I probably wouldn't make a good fishing partner. I like to be successful when I go fishing, but I don't let it get in my head if I have a bad day on the water. I live in the Lewisville area and I tend to spend more of my time on the water on Lake Lewisville.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions...

I don't know if you have found your partner as of yet, so I will throw my hat in the ring. I just recently moved here from AZ. I am financially capable of this tournament season. I am a retired US Marine, 22years of active duty.. I don't have any drama in my life. My wife fully supports me in this endeavor. I have fished tournaments from California, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma. I live in North Fort Worth. If I hit those boxes you are looking for in a partner hit me up.

I grew up in Burleson, is that South enough? Unfortunately I'm in Wylie and I am an immutable A-Hole... just ask my previous partner. But if you want to fish anyway, drop me a PM. roflmao

Good luck with your search, I'm thinking about fishing the trail next year as well!
