Entered in a new trail on my Lowrance HDS 7 and saved it along with a couple waypoints . A short time later I noticed it locked up . Tried to turn it off and back on but no response. Unplugged power cable and reinstalled then powered back up and all good, but I lost the trail and waypoints installed earlier. Been having a few waypoints kicked off recently also so any ideas what may be going on would really help ! Running these trails and waypoints at night a lot, so I’m really concerned over this. Thanks for any help!

What Generation HDS Do you have? How old is it? How many waypoint, Trails and Routes do you have saved?

It’s an HDS 7 about 5 years old with the Navionics plus chip with about 120 waypoints indicated with no trails or routes saved . Tried to save trails but kicked them out. Unit or chip ??

I would export your Waypoint routes and trails Data , Then do a factory reset check everything except registration. Pages/Settings/Factory reset or defaults. Make sure you dont have your unit connected to ethernet and another unit Before you do this if you have another unit ethernet together do the same thing to that unit also. When import your files to ea unit and reconnect the ethernet to sync everything back up.
