Hello everyone.

Lone Star Jr Bassmasters has their August 6th tournament on Lake Tawakoni.

Our intentions are to go out of West Tawakoni City Park Ramp at the point.

We will have approx 35 boats.

With current water conditions falling will that ramp be usable in 2 weeks?

Should we go ahead and switch to a different ramp and if so which one?

Are either on the west or east side of the 2-mile bridge good for low water?

Thanks in advance!

Ramp is fine and will be fine. Just be on the lookout for shallow spots and rocks.

The west end of 2 mile should be fine. I am sure others will comment. The only ramp I would stay away from would be the duck cove public ramp. Although I have never had anything taken from here.

You can arrange early entry into the state park if yiu have a yearly parks pass. They will give you the gate code for entry before park opens but they have a particular process they have youbfollow. It's super easy. I have done it a bunch. Best ramps and safest area to launch on the lake.
