Anyone tried them? I got a few with my last order, but haven't had them on the water yet.

Like I said, I haven't set them up yet. I put them on the rods right out of the box. Notice there is no line on the reels.

there was a guy on FB that broke down one of the baitcasting reels. Looks very nice for the price point. carbon fiber drags, etc. Gary took advice from a lot of his staff on what anglers want in a reel. He hit a home run, I've heard. I need to stop by and pick a couple up soon.

they have 3 different color accents for matching your rods

A buddy of mine likes them and is switching over to them. I have a ton of Dobyns rods but didn't know they started making reels.

I've been looking at the rods for a while and I knew they made bait cast reels but not spinning reels. There facility is just down the road a ways from me. I've had a friend go by and make purchases directly from them and they helped him make the proper selection as well. He was very satisfied.

They come from the same companies that make the other new imports and private labels on eBay.
I have one baitcaster and it is just OK.

Last time I was at LFR I looked at them, they reminded me of Lews.

I think I’ll definitely be trying the baitcaster I almost ordered it last time I was looking around TW. Based on looks it appears a cut above a lot of other reels at that price point but I know looks don’t matter.
