I have an old HDS 8 gen1 that I have moved to the console just for GPS. The graph is not leaving a trail behind the cursor. I have tried several times to turn this on but cant seem to figure it out. Can anyone give me the steps to turn this on? Thanks

You will have to find the Menu that shows Waypoints, Routes and Trails. Under the TRAILS tab you will be able to select NEW and be sure the RECORD is turned on. It has been a long time since I worked with the operating system on the older HDS units. Glad it is still working.

Thanks for the quick reply. I believe I did start a new trail and set it to record. I’ll take some pictures next time out of the menu screen. I still have 4 gen 1s at home that all still work.
