I'm going to be in in New Orleans in late October. Does anyone have a good saltwater guide you could recommend?
I had remembered a cool shop there called Uptown Angler, but looks like it closed.

I have fished with both Lucas Bissett and Bailey Short. Both are great guys and great guides who are Louisiana natives who have fished the marshes 12 months a year for decades. I much prefer that over out of state guides who come in a few months a year and may catch fish, but don't really understand the fishery.
