Heard Skeeter is doing away with the ZX 225 and moving to a ZXR 19. As someone who has limited garage space, this model suits my needs. Anyone have any insight on if they are changing colors for 2023, and if all the standard options that are currently available on ZXR models will be on the ZXR19?

Will the ZxR19 do the skeeter slap like the rest of them?

They are sharp! Start at $62k. bang

I thought I had snapped a picture from FB the other day, but I guess not.

Edit: I think maybe the price started at $67k and not $62k, can’t find the post I read the other day.

I’m trying to figure out if white new balances come standard for Basscat owners since their design is from the 80s, or did you have to pay for em? stir

Glad they went back to the traditional front deck. I also heard they went back to a fiberglass front deck.

I looked hard at Skeeters and then my wife said I might as well buy a Nitro. laugh

Product quality and quality control at Skeeter is terrible right now. Latest is very flexible glass on the sides of some of their boats.

One of the best dealers in N. Texas told me you don't get the best boat quality with Skeeter anymore, you get the best value. I thought that was a fair statement. Made by a person who makes his livelihood selling them. wink

Ford/Chevy/Dodge. I am not a brand loyalist, but with the cost of new boats these days, price is definitely a factor. I doubt any brand is worth what they are charging. Whatever brand someone chooses these days they are more than likely taking it up the rear, just like groceries and everything else.

Another point in buying a Skeeter, we have a dealership close by. Also have a BCB dealership, but those are the only 2 true places for dealer service work. BPS does not count.

100% they are all too damn expensive, but I like having a boat and my wife can afford it laugh

By the way that is a good looking boat thumb
Bump that 225 SHO to a 300, cuz it’s a Yamaha and you can. That 19 footer would scoot yes.
