We have one hanging off the back deck. Those little buggers make me tired chasing each other off, stopping for a quick sip then off again... Dan walking

Has anyone ever seen a hummingbird poop? I think this might be the reason they’re more popular than other birds.

Hummingbirds aren't real. They're government drones designed to spy on you.

We still have our normal 3 to 5 that show up every year and nest in one of our Maple trees. We gave our son who lives in Allen a couple of feeders. He has yet to see a single Hummer at either of them.

I had one hummer this year. Just one, and it only lasted a few seconds.

All the time. Usually as they are sitting on the feeder drinking.

We have hummingbirds year round. We have 3 different types. One winters in our area. One summers in our area. And one seems to migrate thru the area a couple times a year. During the winter and summer we have 3 or 4 feeders out to satisfy the 8-12 hummingbirds. During the overlap periods we have to have 6 out. Usually refilling 2 of the feeders ever other day.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

They're pretty thick down here. One thing I wouldn't have expected but makes sense is how much they love just plain water. There's usually a few in the afternoons getting into arguments with my lesser goldfinches about who has prime spots in the shallow end of the water fountain.

Sugar water??? I used Wellers and 7-up. But then my neighbor would come over and drink it. That made the birds quit coming!

I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!

Someone would probably steal your feeders

That is way cool. Where abouts do you get to see all 3 types?
