I'm a 74 year old retired school teacher. I am limited on my mobility. I live in the Rio Grade Valley, and love the hill County. When it gets a bit cooler I plan on taking a fishing trip north, maybe as far as lake Buchanan. I am mainly interested in fishing piers. Can anyone recommend a place with relatively easy access to go crappie fishing. Also nearby accommodation recommendations would also be appreciated many thanks in advance, captdavid

I don't have any firsthand knowledge, but this might give you a starting place.
