Because crappie are not racist. Only humans are racist, right? Crappie don’t care about the color of your scale. Sometimes I can’t believe how smart I am to think of this kinda stuff.

That was a good laugh......  But on a serious note at times "A" color is the difference between catchn n fishn..... IMHO!

have rarely found color was much of a difference, size or profile gets the consideration most times for me. YMMV Good laugh
