Livescope is clearer IMO. If it was me, I would go with garmin

Which is better for crappie fishing, or are they about the same? It depends on whom U ask & opinions vary so Ultimately YOU have to decide for your self.

if you can get a used LVS 32 and black box for $750 to $850 (now that LVS34 is out) then go with a GARMIN!

I've used livescope and mega live. I like the livescope better. The target seperation is better imo. I run 3 humminbirds on my boat for mapping, Mega SI and Mega DI and then my 93sv echomap plus for livescope. I used the mega live on my father in laws boat numerous times and the livescope was so much better he sold his Helix 9 and mega live that was brand new and bought a garmin 1022 with livescope.
