Motor runs hot on water hose, steam and water comes out of pee hole. Any suggestions?

When was the last time the impeller was replaced? First thing I would do is replace it if it has not been done recently. If you don't have a water pressure gauge then install one. They are not hard to install.

Try replacing Thermostats first before cracking open that Lower unit.  Try the easy first!
