Have not seen any fishing repotrs for Lake Lewisville in a long time. Assumption, no great fishing reports form folks. Can someone chime in on any success stories.

Thanks

Lewisville has been slow from what I have heard. I was out a few weeks ago and found them schooling. Lots of small hybrids mixed in

Summertime fishing on Lewisville can be tough with all the pleasure boats out there. Went out with my kid last Saturday for a couple hours in the evening. Marked alot of fish around underwater humps, but they didn't seem hungry.

zero fish for me this morning. 3 hours. I never saw a person catch a fish. I'm sure many did. But I didn't see it

i got pretty good at fishing lewisville while i lived there. this time of year through august is really tough. You can however have some really good luck trolling those humps.

The white bass fishing has bee tough for the last 3 weeks but seems to be turning the corner a little bit. Crappie fishing remains steady on brush piles. As far as the keeper hybrids there have been some good ones caught lately.

Lewisville has been very slow, I have been able to pick off White Bass on the cut and on the north end of the 35 bridge. Most are holding on transitions from 18-30ft of water and pushing bait horizontally.
Crappie holding on top of brush piles as long as they are also bait around.
LMB's in the A.M. dark till about an hour after sun up some holding in shallow water under trees looking for a quick meal i have been using a small walking bait and working it slow but hard. After sun up look deep and roll a crank.

Do something different, you will be surprised what happens.

It's a ski and wake boat lake.

I caught zero fish on Lewisville Saturday. Lots of balls of bait fish on the graph. I didn't see another boater catch a fish. They may have but I didn't see it. I was on the water by 7:30 and off at 10:30. I used slabs, tailspinners,

It’s so bad I haven’t fished it much lately at all. Myself and some of the other guides have transitioned to other lakes until things improve. It got hot way too quick this year and we’ve had no water. The thermoclines are sitting still and not moving because there’s no current coming in from the rivers. It’s bad bad bad right now.
