I had one that was probably 15 feet off the ground, so I sprayed it with wasp spray that shoots about 10feet. With my arm extended I was able to reach it with no problem. The wasp spray killed them all

I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

I have used several techniques. It all depends on the height of the web. If it's low, you can spray or cut. As they get higher and I can no longer easily reach them, I have shot them with a 20 gauge. This year I bought an 8' extension for my power washer and I use a straight stream tip and annihilate the web with water pressure. The key is to get as close as possible. When they go higher, I have a 4', 6' and 8' step ladder to get me and my extended power washer wand up there. It worked really well this year.
