Lady posted on a Lake Fork page that her and her husband launched at a public ramp this mornin at Fork and when they got back to ramp somebody had unplugged and stole a taillight off the boat trailer and got the motor toter. Guess it was in back of truck which I don't do. That's why I just as soon pay at Lil Mustang or Pope's to launch. Still can happen there too but not as likely as a public ramp. Dam Thieves

I've never had a problem on a public ramp at Fork. Just get the flyers on the truck from the local running boards replaced guy. I've not heard of many issues, either. WTF with cheaper specific items like that, motor toter and tail light?

It really stinks getting anything stolen, but it could have been a whole lot worse.

The only problem I ever had in the 10 years we had a place there was someone hit my boat trailer at the 154 ramp but he waited there until I got back to pay for the damage. Unfortunately not many like that these days.

It's been years but I launched at Ray Roberts state park and fished for around 9 hrs. When I got back I hopped in the truck to pull to the ramp and as I started moving the trailer fell to the ground. Someone had unhooked the trailer off my ball and took the drop hitch/ball and put the trailer on the bumper. Now I keep locks on everything.

these people who take from others suk so bad... like hearing some a-hole gets under someones truck and drills a hole in the gas tank to get one or two gallons of gas cause their container is short to fit under the vehicle, leaving the rest to pour out on the ground, and leaving the poor soul stranded with over a thousand dollar bill for a tow and to fix their truck... people suk, and to the point it is only going to get worse - elections have consequences !!!

This happened to my business , all of my delivery vehicles poked the tanks and drained them. Right in Wylie

I was at a tournament at Axton's several years ago and some one walked of with some depth finders off more than one boat. The crazy part was the did it in broad daylight with people walking up and down the road by the boats that were stolen from next to the store.
I launched at the 154 boat ramp the last time I was on Fork and I noticed they had a security person working the parking lot. I guess its gotten that bad. The way this economy is going this behavior is probably going to go beyond just meth heads. People trying to put groceires on the table may be forced into this behavior.

He musta been napping cause that's where she saying it happened at 154 ramp but it used to happen all the time when they had big tournament weigh ins at lake fork marina. People had to park down beside the hiway on Sundsys and they would just cut the graph wires.

Her whole post was oddly written and didn't make much sense.
