Last three trips have been productive, no livescope, just using old school flashers.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I need to figure out how to unlock the secrets to that lake. I just haven't figured out the main lake bite down there.

I`ve never fished Grandbury but For starters, I would download the TPWD files of Grandbury to my UNIT before leaving the house then I`d try and & hit those locations. I know they are all probably community holes by now but there are quite a few of them in that river system & they all can`t be occupied @ the same time by other anglers. If you don`t have electronics I`d advise hitting those docks ,Bridge pillings, or look for brush piles or debris in the deeper bends off the main(Brazos) river channel during the summer. I didn`t mean to hijack just tryna help coolio

Granbury is a little different creature in the summer. Hard to get away from the pleasure boaters and still be in quality water. No in the cooler months Im good from the city ramp North.
I need to get down there and do some scoping on the deep docks, There has to be a population of fish on them somehwere.

I'd expect the rough bridge TPWD stuff to be full of dinks at best. The others by public piers I've rarely ever fished unless from the bank. The stuff by the old tree you're going to get waked to death in that area.

Interesting. I've never looked for piles in the main lake that much. I've seen laydowns, and junk piled up from floods, and submerged stumps here and there

I misspoke about brushpiles in the main river channel. Laydowns or Debris would`ve been more appropriate words to use but of course like i said "I`ve never fished Grandbury".

Like Chris said, the summer on Granbury can be hectic. Lots of wakeboard boats and jet skis, so lots of patience needed. There are brush piles on the main lake if you look but they are not big. I have found some and may or may not have made some. I alternate between three of those piles and I typically don’t have to hit my other ones. My last three trips I have hit a one man limit.
