I had the chance to sneak over to the neighborhood pond at lunch today. I only had a short time but caught 3 sunfish/perch and at the very end saw a shadow, pulled the popper over it and a nice largemouth slurped it down. I sure thought I got a picture of it but apparently didn't. Here is the 1st sunfish.

I've been wondering if I could work a popper around the shoreline due to multiple trees shading the shoreline. I guess I have my answer now. I make take my other rod next time and throw a topwater frog. Good Times
