Guys, I have been using Seaguar Red Label and Abrazx for a long time without any issues. I recently recommended it to a friend and he called mad as a hornet because he and his son are having it snap off on the cast….. Anyone ever experienced anything like this with the Abrazx?! Pic below of the end of his line.
It's only a good cast if you catch a fish... Personal Best: 11.62 lbs

Backlash will damage fluorocarbon pretty bad, you need to be pretty gentle when pulling it out. It will eventually break inside the spool if you damage it. I also had issues when I smoked. Little piece of ash fall into the spool and fluorocarbon just melts..
Woke up this morning Got yourself a gun....

Abrazx is my go-to line. If you're breaking it on the cast I'd look somewhere other than the line... Like mentioned above or knot or broken line guide or cheap tungsten wt's

Tying a bad knot or not wetting the line before cinching it tight.

Bet he has a bad line guide or is using tungsten weights with an insert.

Thanks guys, I didn’t think it was a line issue but wanted to ask for a second opinion.
