I am new to fishing flat side crank baits. Will they perform during the summer months? I understand they traditionally do well in the fall and winter. Just wondering what ya'll may think.

They work all the time. Some give more flash and less wobble which can appeal to the fish. Gives them a different look than if everyone is throwing a traditional 1.5 for example. Also they provide a different profile that might make a difference. I will also throw them in clearer water if I need something more subtle.
