Well, I couldn’t help myself and purchased a Tatula SV TW Limited 103H (7.1). Most of my reels are the Tatula SV’s. I have quite a few but now I am in a dilemma to determine what technique to use it for? I have plenty on for soft plastics. What say the board please?

I have 2 of the limited editions.
One is on a St Croix Mojo bass 7’ MHMF with straight braid I use for jackhammers. The other is on a Daiwa Elite Feider 6’9” ML I use for vision 110 jerkbaits.

Whatever you want. It sounds like the same reel as all your others, so you are already used to it.

Truly ANYTHING you want to do w/the reel. Short of using it for BIG deep diving crankbaits or BIG swimbaits there is nothing you can’t do w/that reel. IF you really like the reel you will like it for EVERYTHING. My favorite reel is a Revo SX 7/1 and that’s what’s on ALL rods. C-rig, worm, jig, topwater, spinnerbait, crankbaits, flukes……EVERYTHING because that’s the reel I like. Respectfully: don’t overthink it!

7 is right in the middle for me. I like 6-7 for moving baits, and 7+ for bottom contact baits. I'd say use it for swim jigs, bladed jigs, and the like. if you dont have a bait caster set up with a drop shot or light shaky head, then do that. them sv tw's are great for light baits

Tx. rig or drop shot. The Tatula CT, Tatula SV and Tatula Elite are awesome reels.
