OP Vogey Extreme Angler V Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 2,814 New Braunfels Tx.	Supposed to wake up at 3am...woke up at 4 am...made a mad dash to the lake and ended up fishing from 6:30 til 2:15. The air temp was 102 at the lake when I left, and the water temp was in the 90s. Doc was going to go with me today but still feeling a little under the weather after some dental work. It rained on me part way there & about half way back...super...got over 1/2 inch at the house. Have to take the boat in tomorrow for some work, so this will probably be my last trip for a few weeks...And what a trip it was. I had my best bass day ever...ended up with 80 bass, 30+ sunfish & 1 catfish. What made the day so special was the size of the bass. Had one over 6lbs...7 or 8 over 5lbs...and 20-25 between 4 & 5lbs. Only caught 5 under 2 lbs all day. Not sure why...maybe the weather change triggered something. Got the fingers covered with Neosporin from the bass teeth damage...this is a good problem to have ! ...Cheers All fish caught on 3" SWIMBAITS...Here is the Graveyard of fallen Soldiers...
