Incidentally, there are various items that you can put on the burger, such as ketchup and mustard, onions are a favorite too, some people like tomatoes (I do not) and lettuce.

We eat brisket burgers, no “hamburger” meat here. Medium rare to medium center, placed strategically on a ciabatta bun with chipotle mayo. Crinkle cut fries with light dusting of cajun spices.

I could go for a nice grilled burger right now. I found a technique of grilling burgers for the wife and I that works nearly every time. We buy a 1 lb. package of 80/20 or 85/15 ground chuck or ground sirloin. Split it in half, make 2 patties about 1/2 to 3/4 " thick. Make a slight concave pocket on the top of each patty(this helps maintain shape when they expand in the middle). Grill at 450-500 for 6-7 minutes per side, only flipping once. No pink. I use the timer on the cell phone. Done, enjoy. Open lid or closed?

I actually have my burger’s marinating as we speak. Got some bacon I will be grilling as well. Oh, I think I’m going to grill my onions also.

Sous Vide for 13.25 hours at 121 degrees and then 14 seconds on each side under a 1600 degrees salamander oven. Thank me later!

How else is a burger cooked????? Please don't tell me that cooking them in the oven is a thing?
In all seriousness, just sauteed onions the other day and added BBQ sauce to the onions to make a BBQ burger. This was the first time I had done this and it turned out fantastic.

I like a grilled burger, but it is hard to beat a burger cooked on a flat top with some grilled onions.
