Awesome performance.
Rumor has alway been Robert Plant never got over John Bonham's death. He is visibly shaken during the performance when Jason goes off on the drums.

That’s actually John Bonham’s son on the drums.
The derby hats are a tribute to JB.
evidently he used to wear them.

The choir and orchestra didn't hurt that performance either. Ann and Nancy nailed every freakin note perfectly. PERFECTLY. The years have not been favorable to those men. Stairway to Heaven is one of those songs that will never die...no matter how much we want it to.

nah... only one Led Zeppelin, never to be recreated, don't care who covers them, Zeppelin was the best...period... everyone was the best at what they did, all the great guitarist that followed wanted to be Jimmy Page... they were spot on to stop after John died... still frigg'n the most amazing band ever...
