I just got livescope and tried it today and wanted to make this post on my thoughts about it.

Ive owned Side scan and down imaging for about 10 years now.
Still always got frustrated with it on the lake over the years.

Today i took livescope out and it is completly different world of how good it is.

Sidescan and down imaging are basic, look ive been fishing all my life and grew up living on the lake as a kid and watched bassmasters every Saturday. The ability to just point at something and know if there os fish there is a game changer beyond belief. The thing that really suprised me the most about it was that there are a ton of bass on these lakes. 90% of my casts the fish would chase it and then leave. Seeing the bass chase each other around on the screen is incredible, Then throwing your lure out in front of you and watching them chase it while you retreive it back to the boat. Its shown me that the majority of the bass of these lakes are just heavlt pressured and wont bite. But it lets you see that and then you can adjust and switch lures until you find what they want. Also i noticed how fast i was reeling in before. Most of the bass didnt even get a chance to catch up to it, so having livescope allows you to watch your bait and allow rhem to catchup. Another thing that was amazing was watching them attack the shad. They would ambush from the bottom then drop back to the bottom. All Live on your screen.

If your on fence about getting livescope. Do it. Being able to see whats under the water is a no-brainer.

Yup, it is one hell of a tool for sure. Sometimes a great tool, sometimes a frustrating tool grin. Damn sure a lot of fun to have on the boat cheers.

Besides John Cox, you can not be relevant without it on any level.

Someone said hunting instead of fishing? Big deal as long as youโ€™re catching. Use every tool that is available to you if you can.

It really shows you how many just don't bite sometimes... They chase and leave and you want to kick your dog..

Iโ€™ll pass. I enjoy fishing, not staring at a screen playing video games. To each his own. cheers
