Had to put our Shepherd down earlier this year. He was the last of two litters we had from his sire. He wasn't huge, was afraid of thunder and gun shots, but a heck of a watch dog. Anyway, we were pretty broke up over it. Well, today daughter #2, down in the Valley, found two registered German shepherd puppies, a brother and sister, for a hundred dollars each. Dogs are 3 months old. The male is gonna be big. We are on our way to the Valley tomorrow to re-home those two. Looking forward to working with them now that I no longer work.

They will at least keep the deer away from the wife's rose bushes. We are also having a major plague of little grasshoppers this year that are eating the leave off of everything.

No thanks. Daughter #4 is a vet assistant and brought one home to her house as an abandoned puppy. I didn't care for him one bit when I was there. He would listen...eventually, but he chewed on everything.

That was a great deal on the replacement Shepards. They are the best dogs I’ve ever owned!

Could have some chewing in your future for the next 12 months………lol.
