Thankfully we don't have that issue much on our street. The few occasions it happens, it's not for long. We have a 3 car garage & the driveway is WIDE. It might be my favorite feature of the house. Both of our vehicles are parked in the garage but we can probably park 9 cars in the driveway. That's a 19' bass boat & a 3/4 ton 4-door Silverado in front of the small garage.

I work for a utility company. One night (around 1am) I responded to an emergency and the HOA rule was no overnight street parking. The FD was leaving as I pulled up. A neighbor came out to explain the HOA parking rule. I explained the situation and why I was there. He explained the HOA parking rule. I explained why I was there. He explained.... It was a 5 minute conversation. He was livid.

As long as the mail carrier could get to the mailbox I did not mind.

The main place people park in front of others houses in my neighborhood is corner lots on the part that is not really in front of the owners house but on the side. This seems to be the main place folks park that have too many cars. By that I mean grown kids still living at home or in one case a plumbing company ran from a house a few streets over. The driveways are short and the house fronts are short so not a lot of room to park in front anyway and not block a mailbox. Fortunately it is not a big problem here but if someone decided the front of my house was their main parking spot I would put a stop to it but have no issue if it is a one off situation.

I had a similar situation. People across the street ran a roofing company out of their house. They parked all up and down the street. when they started blocking my mailbox I put an end to it.

I have 2 brothers and we are all a year apart. There was a time when there were 5 vehicles at my parents house. Quarter acre lots and between the neighbor on one side was a fire hydrant. We could only park 1 vehicle in front of the house that did not block the mailbox. We would have to park 4 in the driveway and we would block the sidewalk. I did not enjoy having to move my car constantly for someone to get out.

Pretty inconsiderate. Can you think of any reason why he might do this? If not, then I'd speak to him about it.

Corner lot here. No issues. But, my son parks his beater in front of the house. Kinda like a warning to what he’s capable of if you park near him.

Vaseline on the drivers side door handle every time it’s parked in front of your house. Eventually they’ll figure it out. That's a good way to get your [censored] beat.

We had a really sweet, really hot girl in HS who transferred her senior year to a private school. She and I were good friends and we saw each other as she was pulling into her neighborhood and I was leaving so I whipped the truck around and went to her house for a few minutes just to chat and catch up since I hadn't talked to her in a long time. I wasn't fully thinking when I pulled up and I guess I pulled up in her driveway. Her dad got home 15 minutes later and the wife said to him, "Hey honey, why did you come in the front door?" He stared at me and said, "Well somebody was parked in the driveway and I couldn't pull into the garage..." He was a VP-level exec at a large company and wasn't used to having useless 18 year olds park in his space...
I apologized profusely and left a couple minutes later. Last time I talked to Callie...

What irked me when I lived in Frisco, were the narrow streets. Often cars were parked on both sides of the street. No way a ambulance or fire truck could get down one if it needed to.
He is truly a sick individual.

For a short while why don't you park on the street?
