We are on the entire courtesy thing. Whats your thoughts on this? Public street but isn't it kind of an unwritten rule to park in front of your own home or actually use your own driveway?

Yes, but occasionally it’s no big deal. Is this someone that does it everyday?

I use my driveway or garage. My wife has a vehicle and I have another vehicle. Live in a nice middle class neighborhood homes range from 380-500. Neighbor has gotten a little lax and started now parking in front of my house almost daily and keeping his driveway empty or at least open spots. We are very particular about how we keep our stuff. Our grass is always the nicest on the street, garage organized, flowerbeds etc. Nothing I can do about it just wondering what the OT has to say.

I think occasional absolutely. Every single day and not utilizing your own driveway parking or parking in front of your own home is BS.

The "community" that I lived in on the west side of San Antonio had probably the only part of the HOA that I liked. No overnight parking in the street. All the homes on our street had 3 car garages and driveways where you could park 6 cars off the street.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

Agree with you. If they have room and park in front of your place basically daily I would take issue with it. If he has an open spot or even room in front of his own house they should park there. Occasionally in front of your place would not be a problem.

pay a visit to your neighbor and speak face to face about it if you have an issue and it bothers you

Is it ok to park in front of neighbors between the hours of 6-7am while I cut my grass?

You're a lot younger than me and it's the way men in my generation and before mine handled problems at their homes, maybe it's changed?

Or you could try an email? HOA intervention ?

Im just giving you a hard time. Its kinda crazy I actually sold the guy the house so he is a client of mine. HOA bylaws don't have anything to do in our hood with the public street- Im the president (for business purposes still would NEVER recommend it.) It really doesn't bother me to be honest. We are about to build on my families ranch in Sanger and this is getting turned into another rental. I just hear all the time public street can do what I want from people and wondered yalls opinion.

Public street, Not very neighborly but It happened on my block. Neighbor called to have it towed.(not mine) The City LEO was called and he was told there was nothing he could do about it. Unless they were blocking his driveway.
