Why would he do that? They will be 2 years apart.

You think he can help them beat the Jayhawks this year? bolt

I do not think he would back out of a commitment unless something bad happened with a coach or the program, do not know much about the kid but he has to be really good to be considered the top recruit, even with his name.

Obviously I'm not a UT fan. But this has nothing to do with that.

I hate to see him end up at UT. I think the kid had a TON of potential and, like said above, could be better than Peyton or Eli.

Unfortunately, UT does not have a great history of developing players. And DOES have a proven track record of ruining good QBs.

When in doubt, set the hook.

He should pull a Chris Simms and show up in a limo and have the driver carry his bags inside.

He might give them a legit chance at beating Kansas.

Maybe the aggies will start playing the horns again, and get a chance to get closer in the series...

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

This coaching staff has not had a chance to ruin a good QB prospect, ( btw who were these good ones that they ruined ? ) now it appears they have at least two of them, will be interesting to see what happens.

I was going to ask too. Its not a university that ruins a player, its the current system and coaches. This one has not had the time to ruin anyone or to even know how good they are. At best we have spectators on the forum who know more than these quarterbacks who decided to go to UT.

This staff inherited a mediocre roster with little to no talent and they were able to cobble together enough offense to nearly beat OU, and OSU. They took Tech to the woodshed. Of course all the haters will bring up Kansas, and that was an embarrassment I will be the first to admit to that, but 56 points SHOULD be enough to beat Kansas. So the argument should be have they improved on the defensive side of the ball, my response to that is " they couldn't possibly get much worse".
