I want to extend to you a personal invitation to fish our upcoming white bass tournament. Unlike other tournaments, the proceeds from our tournament go to helping veterans in need - specifically to CampV, Tyler, Fisher House, and Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. The tournament is meant for family fun and enjoyment of our great outdoors. We have an adult division with an entry fee of $50 and a children's division with an entry fee of $10. It is an individual tournament with each participant submitting their 5 biggest white bass at the weigh-in. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st three places in the adult division, and fishing-related gifts to the 1st three places of the children's division. There is also a prize for the biggest fish - included in the entry fee. Start time is 6 AM and stop in time to be in the weigh-in line by noon. Weigh-in and lunch (provided) is at Log Cabin boat ramp, Log Cabin, Texas. I will not be competing myself, but will be giving Cedar Creek fishing reports in the two weeks leading up to the tournament. I'll tell you where on the lake and what baits and techniques are being used to catch white bass. I will also be doing the weigh-in and look forward to seeing you on tournament day. Dennis
