Really interesting video. Two weeks ago, my wife and I were on a flight from DFW to El Paso. On our flight was Jinder Mahal, Shaemus, and Drew McIntyre. We were all sitting up in first class. SInce my wife and I were on upgrade tickets as opposed to purchased tickets, we were not sitting together. I asked Drew McIntyre if I could change seats with him and he was very kind and we swapped seats. One thing that was really interesting in looking at the three of them was that they looked totally exhausted....I mean totally exhausted. I know that Drew had closed out Smackdown the night before and they were on their way to a house show in Las Cruces, NM where Drew was headlining again. I talked to Shaemus a bit before we boarded the plane (he asked for directions from el paso to LC...and I asked him if they get any days off to which he simply said...not enough. Even though on screen Drew and Shaemus are mortal enemies, in real life, they are friends and travel together.

The last time I watched this stuff the WWE had 2 guys kiss in the ring. Turned it off and never went back.
But that 80's and 90's wrestling was some great entertainment.

Whoooooooo!

Anyone been to the Sportatorium in Dallas back in the day? My 10yo son wanted to go back in the early ‘80s. Some of them folks looked like they gave their last dollar to get in. Just glad my car still had wheels when it was over

A teammate of mine who was good enough to be selected for one of the gulf south conference’s best nose guard in the 1970’s decided to take up professional wrestling after football. He began to get matches once he had been training long enough. One night prior to one of those early matches, he began telling his buddies in the dressing room with him that all of this stuff was so “fake”. That night, his buddies roughed him up and broke his arm in the ring. His wrestling career came to a screeching halt that night.
