Before I start, I want to thank Bob Maindelle for teaching me about how to use his lure and techniques. Book a trip with Bob even if your an experienced angler and you will take a lot more knowledge into your next White Bass Fishing Trip.
Launched at Belton Park next to Franks Marina at 6am. Light winds and clear skies. Water temp was 83.9 degrees. Looked around 28-35 feet of water and found a few scattered schools . Saw a lot of schooling action on the South side of Temple Park near boat ramp. Only boat on the school for 1.5 hours in 12-15 feet of water. Used MAL lure to cast far and whopper plopper too. Mostly unsized white bass and few largemouth schoolies.
Return to catching in 40-45 FOW, magnum white bass and undersize hybrids on MAL and 1oz jigging spoons in white or Chartreuse. Burning style , fast retrieve up and stop after 8-10 cranks ans BAM...FISH ON,
Quit at 10:30am . Caught over 50 keepers but kept 30 for Fathers Day Fish fry for parents and brother family.
Thanks again to Bob Maindelle teachings to help me catch on tough , low wind/blue-bird skies/full moon days.....

Always good to give praise. One that spends that much time on the water year round has forgotten more than most of us will know.
