Yep, my daughter and SIL came by and gave me an Academy gift card. Glad it was not a BPS card.

Had a feed here at the casa with both my kids and their spouses, which is my favorite way to spend the day. They pooled together and bought me a VacMaster VP215 chamber type vacuum sealer. Thing is a beast, weighs 84 pounds, gonna have to get a rolling cart for it.

Got a ticket to a Rangers Game with the wife and grown children. And a Rangers shirt. 
Life journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved state.
But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Got phone calls from the kids: one in San Fran, one in Asheville and one in Tulsa. The Wife is taking me out to lunch to my favorite high-tone Mexican place (Mi Dia from Scratch) today so we avoided the Sunday crowd.

I got three packs of senkos in a cool box. Of course I bought another street rod last week…so I’m lucky to even get what she gave me!

I did. Got to spend the day with my kiddos, cook a brisket, have a little pool time and was surprised with a new soft side Yeti. Great fathers day.

Sunday morning my daughter and I left the house at 545 a.m. to drive to San Marcos where she had a softball game. Got back home around 2p.m. Within 10 min of being home, my daughter leaves to hang with her friends, my son leaves to do the same with his friends & my wife decides to leave to go check the mail. So I grabbed the dog and went to my parents where we watched some of the Texas & Texas A&M game. So far, everyone here had a better day than me

All I wanted was a cheap cowboy hate from cavenders to wear when working on the land. Told all 3 of them. I got a card from both kids and the wife. I did organize a trip to the roughriders game when it was clear there was no plan or gifts otherwise arranged. So that was a fun evening.

Yes I did. I was treated to some BBQ and spent some quality time with daughter, son in law and seven month old granddaughter...

Wife and I got into it pretty good argument Friday evening and haven't spoken since. Got the girls all to myself Sunday which was fantastic!!! Wife made dinner and took hers to the bedroom while the rest of us hung out. Got a dozen roses, 3 cards and a 12" Dewalt miter saw.
