Going at the end of August and wanting to fish at least one day.
Is inshore or offshore better that time of year? Also we will be looking for a Captain any tips on a good one?
I would love to bring some fish back to Tx.

I have fished Biloxi a few times , never was a meat haul. Backtrack to the Louisiana Delta area and the fishing will be much better, IMHO.

Either location will be HOTT.

Offshore in Mississippi is a long ride, We went 50 miles miles to fish oil rigs one year , caught some huge snapper but season was closed.
Got in to huge schools of redfish on surface one year , federal waters , No keeping redfish.
