funny how threads change this spring there was a thread about how sinking and fishing brush piles was cheating...

Its not, but a lot of guys on here were saying it is. Some were very nasty.

It think the tendency is to stay too long. Aggressive feeding fish find the bait pretty quick. About 10 to 15 minutes and move on a milk run.

I was white perch fishing a few weeks ago and learned something about how they hang around the piles. Now I just have to figure out a bait other than a minnow I can catch them with. Caught one about 5 and had 2 I couldn't pull off the bottom. I thought a big spoon would get the reaction but it didn't get them going. The thought crossed my mind to bring a white perch jig and get them going during a tournament and when the bass move in try to get them to bite. I think I'm going to try and time it one day to see if I could do it just for fun
