Couple sticks of butter supposedly make them easier to peel. The ladies in our group love brussels sprouts in there as well, with the other veggies. One of the "newer" things I've seen the last few years is throwing some raviolis in the boil

Lookup stale cracker, he’s got lots of good Cajun recipes to include crawfish boil.
Livn a dream, me and Sammy Dog 2300 Bay Ranger, F250 Yammi I would add a UBBCode but don’t know what that is.

Had Pineapple in our last one and very good. Also, we got a lemon concentrate and poured on them when once water drains out of strainer. Very good... And of course all the other stuff as well.

We always threw in a few lemons and a couple of pakages of whole button mushrooms... I know it may sound wierd but they shrooms are like sponges and if you like spicy... it's a good.

I usually smoke some sausage the day before the boil. I leave it uncovered in the fridge overnight so it will dehydrate a little. Cut up the day of the boil, throw it in and let it soak up all the flavor. We do the corn, potatoes, and mushrooms. It's all good!
