The last couple times out in my Kayak the pattern I was on top water fishing has failed me. I knew it would happen. Just sucks when the fishing was so good for several weeks. If I ask in the main forum it's all geared for people with boats. So I'm asking for suggestions here. Not asking for your spots but if you have suggestions on how to catch from a Kayak in the hotter Summer I'd appreciate the assistance. Obviously can't run to multiple coves looking for live bait. Don't have a spot lock trolling motor to go sit in 40' of water.... Any help is appreciated. Been mainly fishing points outside East Burns and Eisenhower....

The key I've always found at texoma is get there super early and be on the water before daylight and cover water. Texoma is a lake I always paddle 10+ miles. If you want the fish gotta put in the work.

What's your targeted species? From my experience as of late, it's wide open for whatever you wanna catch. Just gotta know what you're after for me to point you in the right direction.
