The houses with solar are flagged with Biden, Bernie or Beeto signs during election season. 100 percent BS gun toting MAGA republican here And your house looks awful, I dont have to see it, if it has solar panels it looks awful

Also, I'm pretty sure out in Midlothian area by Railport, it looks like there is a solar station going in. At first I thought it was trellis for a vineyard, but at that location it wouldn't make sense. Add in the sub station they just built and it has got to be a solar field. That's for a big data center right next to the QT distribution warehouse off railport. Data centers consume a lot of energy. I work for an electrical sub and we did the electrical contract for that data center; including tying into that substation.

It should be illegal the way they try to sell you this stuff. It makes zero sense unless you are doing it to "feel greener" because you dang sure will not be saving any money at all. Not even close to worth it. They just catch the suckers. Dont do it.

Probably about the same amount of profit margin which are both astronomical. When solar companies are willing to pay real estate agents 1000 dollar referral fee a red flag should go up immediately.

the guy I just talked to claimed they would warranty everything including hail for 5 years. They would also cover any damage they might do to the roof if something went wrong (the whole roof)after that it went to a 3-yard area around the pannels. He also claimed they were warranty covered for 25 years and that they would produce at least 95% of the power they did on day one. My electric bills run from $45 in the winter. spring, fall to $150 in the summer. These panels would cost about $20,000 or about $80/mo. How do you have that low of an electric bill, do you just sit in the dark and fan yourself all day. My house is well insulated, has new windows (previous owners put them in), and I keep the AC at 76-78 (and use ceiling fans) during the summer and it's set at 65 in the winter. I'm home all day and during the summers have two kids here also. Our house is just over 2400sqft. We have gas heat and water heaters.

I never thought much about how people roofs looked.
See plenty of them... never occurred to me to consider them aesthetically pleasing or not. They just are there.

It crazy the amount of brand new Chevy suvs that are sitting in that lot. Has to be a couple thousand. They put a huge solar farm in Bardwell. It's like 1000 acres.
