Found a recipe I wanted to try. Flat out the best shrimp I have EVER had. The flavors were bold and not over powering and SO good. Even dad who hardly ever eats anything, went back for seconds and ate the last of it, that pig. Now I know a lot of us in here like good food, would highly suggest you give it a try. It will not disappoint a discerning palate. Margarita Grilled Shrimp kabobs. My cilantro lime rice game is weak.

We had some Chinese food delivered, it was horrible, that is not the first time we have had bad food from there, crossing that place off the list.

We had some Chinese food delivered, it was horrible, that is not the first time we have had bad food from there, crossing that place off the list. We had Chinese as well. Sesame Chicken from the bag (HEB brand) Pork Egg Rolls & fried rice (both from Sam's club) and homemade sweet n sour sauce (so very good) If any of you like sweet n sour sauce this recipe is so easy. Mix equal parts of ketchup, sugar, water & apple cider vinegar, bring to a simmer & let reduce to desired thickness. I like to add minced ginger in while simmering & then add chopped green onion & big ol squirt of sriracha (to kick it up a notch) to my bowl before pouring in the sauce. You can also add garlic which I do on occasions. Again, if you like sweet n sour sauce, this is a great recipe.
Reality. What a concept!

Leftover roast with mashed sweet potatoes, squash and broccoli, corn, and roasted beets. I have found I really prefer roasting the beets instead of eating canned or pickled beets. The fresh roasted ones don't have an overpowering earthy taste...but your urine will be a surprising color, so you gotta remember you are beets or you'll probably freak out.
