No and I hope and pray I never have to.I just got off the walker today graduating to a cane, hip replacement a week ago.Hoping to be out cruising the lake here in a couple weeks. That being said I'll drop a few prayers your way for a cancer free full and speedy recovery.

Thank you for the prayers. Moved to lake amistad in October. Then got diagnosed with DLBCL. Started chemo last Thursday. I think the fatigue will be keeping me off the water.

Oh and I’m just recovering from ankle fusion that took 18 months.

I have been on a chemo pill for a chronic blood cancer for a year now and so far I can take the heat well, but get tired by the end of the day. Hoping and praying for a great outcome for your treatment!

Praying for you Sir! The Lord Jesus Christ has control. angel2

Side Note: I fish with a very good friend of mine who is going through chemo treatment. Overall he manages it well, however he does have some bad days. He also fishes very early morning and is done by 10am. He cannot take the heat at all. Fatigue and nausea are his main problems.

Be careful about sun sensitivity if you go out.

I've seen a couple family members go through chemo. I'd strongly recommend that you go fishing at an indoor barge/marina type place that has air conditioning and keeps you out of direct sunlight.

I have.. in June 2012 I started chemo and radiation..I even fished a couple of tourneys during my treatments..I remember getting a vanilla smoothie shake lunch through my feeding tube( I needed some energy) in the rain at a team tourney at Lake Wilson in Kansas.. You can do it! Get after 'em!

Thank you. I was out in the sun for 10 minutes yesterday and it wiped me out. I’m just gonna try and be patient until I feel a lot better.
