I had something similar at my old place in Colorado. I had a section in my downstairs that was concrete walls on 3 sides so I had a safe door very similar to what you have pictured installed so I could walk into the room. It was nice to have something that could be concealed behind a a false wooden door so it didn't scream gun safe/storage vault.

If I built a new home it would have a hidden safe room with a safe for guns and valuables. Break in and you wouldn’t even know I was there.

I would suggest one with a dial combo, unless you can change batteries without opening it

I have a friend who builds house in the KC area. He builds secret rooms under the carport. The excess is down stairs behind a bookcase that slides. you wouldn't know its there without knowing the room is there. You could easily make a gun room out of it, since all four sides are concrete with a concrete sealing. The room was the size of the carport I believe it was a three car. The bookcase was split in the middle and sides apart about 4' feet on each side.
