The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our fifth members only tournament of 2022, Saturday June 11th on Lake Palestine. Here is the information -

• When: Saturday June 11th
• Where: Lake Palestine - Lake Palestine Resort Ramp ($5.00 launch fee)
• Time: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Registration: 5:00 - 5:45 AM
• Entry Fee: $60.00 per boat - 2 person maximum

You MUST be an RHBC member to fish this tournament. To join the Club you will have needed to attend our meeting this Thursday night at Flying Fish in Garland. Here is a link to the meeting information.

Meeting Info

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 5:00 on Saturday morning. When you register you will be given a numbered chip. You will need to to turn your chip in by placing it on the board to get your fish weighed. You will need to get your live well checked and a ribbon tied on to your trolling motor which must remain there until weigh in. You can then launch or trailer and go to your spot. No lines in the water until 6:00. Lines out at 3:00. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give members time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. The chip must be back on the board with the Tournament Director by 3:30. Weigh in will start then. If your chip is not on the board at the specified time, a 1 pound per minute penalty will be assessed. After 15 minutes your catch will be marked as 0. You will be called to the scales by boat number. Leave your fish in the live well until your number is called! Keep the water cooled and treated and your fish healthy! See you at the ramp!

We'll start registration at 5:00. The Store will open at that time selling launch's and have food and drinks. I will set up in the store where I can see a bit better. Chris will be outside checking livewells. Once you've registered and been checked, you can launch or trailer. Folks it's going to be HOT. Please start hydrating today and make sure you eat as well as drink tomorrow. Bring some extra ice and Sure Life for your fish. See you there!

CONGRATULATIONS to Chelsie on her new PB 8 1/2# big bass! AND it secured the big bass prize !!

31 boats came out to fish on sweltering Palestine yesterday. Fishing was pretty good especially for numbers. The team of Chris Atkinson and myself came out on top with a limit that weighed 20.32. Chelsie Prendez fishing with Russell Olds caught her personal best, an 8.56 to take big bass honors. Full results and pictures will be posted this week.
