Fished Tawakoni yesterday and Cedar Creek today. Fish bit good both days even in 2' of water and 90 degree water temps. Don't feel too bad at all. I drank about 41 gallons of water though.

Yep. They were shallow. The heat makes people do weird things. I was fishing a point by a swim beach and watched a teen couple gettin it on, full on boogie, around the corner, behind a bush from a packed beach. I had to play “The Stroke” by Billy Squire as loud as I could. It was hilarious….and kinda unsettling at the same time.

As much as I like the 2 or 3 hits he had, most music by Billy Squire became a little unsettling.

Cedar Creek boatvtraffic was insane today. From about 8:30 this morning till weigh in the amount of wake boats, pontoons, ski boats and jet skis was stupid. All of them would blow by us and docks withing 25yds. No wake boys were not something they gave a damn about. Worst I have ever seen it on Cedar Creek today. Stupid was on full display all day.

I had a few friends fishing Media Team there today. They said the same thing when I texted them. Said the rec boats were in full represent mode.

I think there was a high school tournament or at least practice for one going on as well. It will velate fall before I hit Cedar Creek again. I'm done till at least after Lsbor Day on that lake. I will stick to my own water, I only saw 2 boats on the water a little while ago on Lake Bridgeport as I drove across it coming home.

Bite was really getting good on Cedar Creek at weigh in time. Kinda wihed we would of had a later flight. We culled a few times in last hour as well as culled on last castor the day.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day I try to fish non-ski kinda lakes. Grass lakes. Stuff like that. Or week days.

I am usually a weekday angler unless I have a tournament.

I'll take the heat over the cold every day, but it's still hot. I hate humidity.
