I saw a flat bottom on there last year. Last year, where they launched and loaded would have been an issue if the GW witnessed it.

The only legal access is the rip rap on the bridge.

I suppose, if they were plant employees and/or had permission to launch from the land owners, it may have been OK.

It makes me sick reading about Monty and all the great days. When that lake shut down it was one of the biggest reasons I Moved from winnsboro and bought a house in quitman. Someone should start a picture thread of all the giants that came from that lake

I wouldn't call these monsters but here's a couple from 91. Most of em we caught we didn't take up to get pictures. Polaroids! Lol, how old am I?? Sure miss that place!

On the plus side, they do post the price of gas now. It was sad to see all the photos go. I may ask the guy next time I am over there if they saved them. It would be cool to get them all scanned and uploaded.
