My favorites were always the Indian Tabac Maduros, but they were discontinued years ago.
Why?
Because the company name of Rocky Patel was not on the label, and corporate decided to make a change which including discontinuing.

Another favorite "was" the Varina Farms Maduro, but the "maduro" was discontinued, and only the Breakfast Blend is available.

Now, I don't really have a favorite, but I do have a few I like a lot.

La Flor Dominicana are a few.

In fact, I bought a lot of cigars recently, and I'll be selling about 15-20 of them in the "non fishing" section soon, probably by Monday at the latest.

Morning light to medium smoke cannot beat a sancho panza.
Evening I bought a box of CAO Italia which are fairly bold and a very tasty maduro.

I also bought a 6 pack pack of cheap Padilla La Terraza maduros. They are a great smoke if you are a maduro fan and do not mind a mediumish blend

Just a quick peruse of my little humidor:

Baccarats ... prolly a half a dozen or so

Macanudo ... only 2

Romeo Y Julieta ... 3

Then a couple of cigars I know nothing about. Maybe someone here has experience and can give an opinion. First is a Partagas Spanish Rosado. Don't remember where I got it if I bought it on a whim or it was recommended. Second is an Oliva Connecticut Reserve. It was recommended to me I think and I've had it a couple of months. May fire it later this evening.

Finally, last month Mrs. RayBob and I were in Spring (Tx) and there was a cigar house there and I bought one of their house rolled. It feels like it will smoke well. It is also a near future treat. Black House Cigars.8

My "habit" is about one a week. Needs to have the right atmosphere.[Linked Image]

No.
Maduro means "dark, strong" cigar.

What’s a good high-end cigar cost?
Do you inhale cigar smoke?

No, inhaling cigar smoke is not part of the process, but I'd surmise some cigar smokers do.

Probably former cigarette smokers might inhale, but overall, the answer is "No."

There are all levels/qualities/prices assigned to cigars.

There are some cigars that are considered "good" that start at $8, and those that go up to $40.
I've seen other expensive boutique'ish cigars for the wealthy that are double or triple that.

To some men, expensive means $8 a stick, others, they don't consider a cigar expensive until they hit $20.

You can pick up fantastic sticks for sub $20.

A Fuente Fuente Opus X will only set you back about $30.

Don't inhale it unless you want to be floored and puking.

I have a buddy that is a cigar snob. He brings me some to try every now and then. Some are a smooth a cupids nipple, some are a like licking satans taint.

dropping $20 a stick is nothing for him.

my cheap arse just bums from him.

It’s always nice to have a buddy who will bring $20 cigars 😅

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.
